What???? Really????? More than a month???
Sincere apologies.... I mean seriously. I've got loads of tales and if I had time to impart them all, you'd hear about workshops in Mumbai, Malou's arrival, motorcycling in Goa, teaching in Goa, dancing at a carnival themed party in Goa: (yes, this clip is for real, and no it is not us)
We trained like mad in Goa for the Salsa-India Festival and performance then shot back to Mumbai on April 3rd in time to make it to the opening party and celebrations. We taught on the 4th during the day a 50 minute Lindy Hop lesson that went surprisingly well, then we performed that night which went better than even we expected. You can see a shaky view of that here.
If I had time to tell you everything, you'd also hear about our train journey to Delhi, Malou getting 3 infections all at the same time, hospital visits, making it through a ridiculously fun TV show called 'Workout Victim.' I'll try to get that posted on YouTube soon. The basic premise was we, the instructors, take a Victim, in this case a Marketing Consultant named Nitin, teach him Lindy Hop in about 2.5 seconds then air it on TV. An over enthusiastic host kept the energy up and a watch on the clock.
Lets see, I'd also tell you about sheisty organizers, ridiculous amounts of networking, business ideas, and propositions. A bar in Mumbai that wants a regular Milonga starting in August, Class ideas, performance opportunities, people's excitement in class, and how much fun this project is going to be.
